Went to Disneyland yesterday. There never seems to be a day when it hasn't been crowded lately. So, much more walking than riding really. The weather was really nice though. Heidi emailed me a new job offer yesterday. It was for a file clerk position. I looked it over, felt reluctant because there is possibly some phone work involved, but I decided I would apply anyway and attached my resume like they asked. So, Heidi managed to hook me up with this guy who gave me some temp work to do. It would be simple data entry of putting these filled out raffle forms into a spreadsheet. Basically a small company with only a handful of people and/or trying to start my own business. I don't really know anything about business, but it looked good to me. The other day I received a letter in the mail from the Department of Rehabilitation (they're the ones who hooked me up with WECARE) telling me to call them so they can schedule an appointment. I saw the movie Adam today, and I thought it was the most accurate portrayal of Asperger's I've seen on film so far. My mom watched it with me and a little while later she asked me if I thought it would be possible to tell if someone had Asperger's from interacting with them. So, yesterday I had what is probably my last therapy appointment. My health insurance is running out on my birthday this Sunday. So, my mom's been shopping around for new health insurance for me. The most important thing is getting my prescriptions and being able to see my endocrinologist twice a year. I believe she found an insurance for that. ( Read more... )

Yesterday we took a trip to Disneyland again. We wanted to go to California Adventure park so we could ride the new Little Mermaid attraction. We got there and the wait time for the ride was 90 minutes. At first we weren't going to do it, but then we just decided, why not? The wait time ended up being about an hour and ten minutes.
